Anybody suffer for chronic fatigue?
I’m 19. I’m suffering from chronic fatigue syndrome. I don’t know what’s wrong with me. Doctors still can’t figure out why I’m tired all the time. I want to go to college in the fall, but I have no energy to do anything. My highschool g.p.a. was a 3.80. I made a 22 on my ACT, so I can get the TOPS scholarship. I’m on S.S.I. disability right now. I’m unable to work. Is there anyone who can give me advice on what to do? I’ve read about Leaky Gut Syndrome & adrenal fatigue. I eat healthy. I lift weights when I have the energy. I’m taking Zoloft & Abilify. I’m also taking DHEA, which is an adrenal supplement. Anything else I should be doing? Thank you for your help. God Bless

I think it’s due to a hormonal imbalance. Cortisol levels that are low or a thyroid condition may be the root of fatigue.
Have you seen an endocrinologist to test all your hormone levels?
Once you get results you can take medicine to bring your hormones back to a functioning level where you don’t suffer from fatigue among other symptoms.
I empathize with you as I am suffering from chronic fatigue for over four months from receiving a birth control shot that contained synthetic progesterone which destroyed my cortisol level- a 1, when the normal level is 11-12.
Although you have not taken birth control, quite often the body gets out of balance on its own.
Seek out a specialist. After suffering for so long I’ve gotten some answers to why I have such extreme fatigue.
You will get answers. They will run extensive tests. They will look for everything under the sun.
But it’s worth it.
An endocrinologist or rheumatologist will be able to help beyond what you’d expect. There is available treatment to live a better quality of life.
