Leaky Gut Syndrome Diagnosis

What is the most accurate diagnosis for candida overgrowth in the intestines?

I am from the UK and I believe I have a candida overgrowth in my intestines and possibly leaky gut syndrome. Doctors don’t seem to know much about this and don’t take you seriously. Does anybody know the most accurate test for a candida overgrowth in the intestines?

Common diagnostic tests to determine the presence of candida and leaky gut include the following:

• Candida Immune Complexes is a blood test that has been proven to be effective in the detection and monitoring of candida overgrowth (Candidiasis)
• Candida antibody panel (IgG, IgM, IgA) (blood test)
• Intestinal permeability testing for leaky gut syndrome (blood test)
• Digestive stool analysis and culture

There is a less scientific test where you umm spit in a glass of water lol! If you see stringy bits hanging down, say hello candida! :)
