I have leaky gut sydnrome – what should I eat?
I’m 15, I have leaky gut syndrome, I’m vegetarian and I can’t eat dairy, soy or goat’s products. I often feel sick for no apparent reason and even though I am on medication, it seems to be getting worse. Is anyone else in a similar position and, if so, could someone please give me some ideas on what types of foods I should be eating? As you can guess, my diet is very restricted. Thanks ![]()
Thanks, but I really don’t think I would be able to eat a whole chunk of meat. Are there any ways of eating meat (in a sauce or something) where I won’t notice it’s there? I know being vegetarian is bad for my health but I just can’t bring myself to eat meat.
I’m assuming by “leaky gut”, you mean you have a protein losing enteropathy.
Seriously consider giving up vegetarianism. Dairy and soy are the main sources of protein for most vegetarians.
